Programs

  • Economic Empowerment

An important aspect of the NCNW mission is to empower women of African descent, their families and communities. One of the ways that we do this is by presenting information that is designed to help women and their families achieve their economic and financial aspirations.

  • Education

Education has always been at the heart of NCNW’s mission, ensuring that individuals have access to quality learning opportunities that prepare them for the future. We promote academic excellence and career readiness, with a strong emphasis on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (S.T.E.A.M.) programs. By fostering a culture of lifelong learning and empowerment, we help bridge educational gaps and create pathways for success.

  • Health Equity

NCNW advocates for equitable healthcare access, education, and awareness, ensuring that all individuals—regardless of background—receive the resources they need to lead healthy, thriving lives. We address disparities in healthcare, promote wellness initiatives, and support preventive care efforts, particularly in historically underserved communities, to build a healthier future for all.

  • Social Justice

NCNW stands at the forefront of social justice and advocacy, working to dismantle systemic inequalities and empower marginalized communities. Through civic engagement, public policy initiatives, and grassroots activism, we fight for equity, human rights, and meaningful change in areas such as voting rights, criminal justice reform, and racial and gender equality. Our commitment to justice ensures that every voice is heard and every individual has the opportunity to thrive.
